Swimming lessons are essential to having fun in the water safely!

The last time we updated on K was a couple of months ago, and K continues to enjoy water safely with Teacher Yong! K’s water confidence has been building up and he thoroughly enjoys his swimming lessons. Each time he arrives at the swimming pool on days that aren’t lesson days, he would associate the pool with Teacher Yong!

K enjoys placing his face in the water and submerging with the help of Teacher Yong. He looks forward to every swimming lesson and listens attentively to instructions. He continues to work on his kicking as well as entering the water safely, and this is all done under close supervision with teaching aids. Teacher Yong uses the noodle and dumbbell to guide him along, and K is making good progress!

K loves being in the water, and with time and continual practice, his gross motor skills have improved quite a bit. It is also great that he is able to go swimming often so as to practise being more water confident!
