Learning new swimming strokes is fun!
MoovSwim had a great children swimming lesson with S and JD on Sunday morning! A few months ago, we wrote about the children’s progress. They had started to learn how to coordinate their breathing and arm movements. For the past few lessons, the children have been using the noodles to aid in their balance, and boards to guide them with their kicking.
The children first warmed up by practising their kicking. They have grown in confidence and their coordination have improved. They are now able to perform the breaststroke independently after a few lessons of learning! JD is quick to learn and grasp concepts readily. He is able to coordinate his breathing well and strives to perfect his strokes. S is very driven and motivated to do well, and she enjoys practising her strokes and breathing coordination. She is so comfortable in the water now that you would not have known that this girl totally did not enjoy swimming and was apprehensive about putting her head in the water just at the beginning of the year! Well done!
