Toddler Swimming Lesson – Swishing is Fun!

Baby swimming is lots of fun with toys and songs!
MoovSwim had its toddler swimming lesson with Baby A and Baby I on a bright and sunny Tuesday morning! Our 2015 girls had been learning to swim together with MoovSwim for about a month, and they have made progress in terms of water confidence and familiarisation.
The girls know the routine of the lesson very well, and they were all ready for the warm up exercise to get them started. Coach Yong brought out the balls, and the girls excitedly kicked towards them and put them into the loop! This activity encourages babies and toddlers to move towards the colourful toys, specifically via kicking in the water.
The next part of the swimming lesson was getting the girls to go under the “London Bridge”, another fun activity to encourage movement in the water. For babies and toddlers, the focus of swimming lessons is to promote water familiarisation and safety. Throughout the lesson, the girls practised their safe entry and exit of the water and back float. As they grew in confidence, coach had also begun to teach the girls basic paddling! Well done, little swimmers!
