water safety basics – learning to float

girls having fun swimming

Swimming is a great way for girl friends to bond!

On Saturday afternoon, MoovSwim had a children swimming lesson with YT, A and S. Like YT, A and S have been attending swimming lessons since the start of the year, and A has progressed very well since last month. Her rocket-pizza motion is improving, and she can now confidently kick off the wall and do a torpedo without the aid of the noodle. Well done, A!

YT is improving steadily since three weeks ago, and is relying less on the noodle for flotation and propulsion. She encourages her friends to do better and is taking the initiative to practise on her own. Keep up the good work!

S has been attending lessons on and off, and is relatively new to formal swimming lessons compared to the other girls. Nonetheless, she has a great learning attitude and is eager to try new things. She used to be very fearful of water and was not confident in water. After a few months, she is able to now place her face in the water and can even do a torpedo while holding her breath! Continue to put in effort, S!
